Welcome to Philadelphia City
Council's Transcript Room, where complete transcripts of Council sessions and
Committee hearings are available for viewing or download. The Transcript Room
contains transcripts dating back to September 1997. All transcripts are made
available in '.pdf' format.
If you are looking for the
transcript of a hearing on a bill or resolution, but do not know the date of
the hearing or the name of the Committee that conducted the hearing, you may
find that information as follows:
(1) Click
"search" on the left hand side of this page to bring up the "keyword" search
page.
(2) Enter the bill or resolution number (e.g., "050337") in the "keywords" box
and then click "search".
(3) On the next page, if the search returns the bill or resolution you are
looking for, click the bill or resolution number.
(4) The next page should show, in "Legislative History," the date of the
hearing and the name of the Committee that conducted the hearing.
